We're a group of young people looking forward to their summer holidays in Croatia this year. We were thinking of chartering a yacht, but at the same time we wouldn't like to miss out all the fun and clubbing? Do you think we could put these two together in one vacation and what areas would you recommend us to visit? Thanks!

If you wish to combine sailing holiday with clubbing I would suggest you to start your charter vacation from Central Adriatic (any marina in Split or marina Kastela). The best route for this type of charter vacation would be sailing to Trogir or Vodice, famous for it's night life and than returning to Palmizana and city of Hvar on the island Hvar where many people go clubbing. The most famous night bar there is Carpe Diem but beware of the prices. On your return you can stop in Bol (island Brac). Bol tourism is generally oriented toward young people and their needs so there are many disco's there and sporting activities during the day. If you plan to visit Bol with the sailing yacht you should beware of the keel depth because Bol marina is pretty shallow. They have expanded it last year I think but I am not sure of the current marina depth.

I have been to almost all of these cities and islands, not sailing but with local transportation and it was awesome!
Vodice have all these fun clubs near the beach -it's party late into the night. Trogir is so cool -there are a bunch of restaurants and bars, and several night clubs right along the "riva". If you're lucky and you catch a spot to moor on the riva -the clubs are only like two steps off the boat :-D -how cool is that!
It's not easy to catch a spot there but the marina is only a few hundred meters away -so no worries.
Hvar is a tough one! It's always crowded -you'd better moor somewhere else and just come to Hvar to party. The clubs there work 24/7 and people are dancing from dusk till down it's like Ibiza 10 years back!
Bol I had been to with my parents about 20 years ago when I was a kid, and my and my brother had so much fun there -but guess what we were only 9, we were not into clubbing back than. You better ask someone else about Bol :-D

It’s great in Hvar. ... The harbor is crowded with luxury yachts and there are many charming bars and cafes along the waterfront where you can enjoy yourself sipping cocktails out in the open. And the nightlife is simply wicked!!!;-) Don’t miss out!

L’estate scorsa siamo stati in vacanza in Croazia.
